From the basics to the out-of-this world, here are some of our favorite ways to enjoy our favorite coffee.

Caramel coffee

Red, White & Brew

For your 4th of July celebration, the best coffee makes the best cold brew!

  • Mix 2 qts. cold water with 11–12oz. of Eight O’Clock® ground coffee. Let mixture sit for 8–12 hours.
  • Place cheesecloth or coffee filter in strainer and pour coffee mixture through to filter out grounds, leaving liquid concentrate.
  • For iced coffee, use 1 part concentrate to 2 parts water. For iced latte, substitute milk for water.
  • Add sweetener to taste and enjoy!

GREAT TASTING COFFEE

Basic Coffee

There are many brewing methods, so you should start by checking the instructions that came with your brewer. Here are some general guidelines:

  • Start with 1-2 rounded tablespoons of ground coffee per six ounces of water.
  • If you are grinding your beans, here are a few things to know: the finer you grind them, the stronger your coffee will be. For drip coffee makers, use a medium grind; for espresso makers and mocha pots, use a fine grind; for French press, use a coarse grind.
  • Start with cold, fresh water. If your tap water has a noticeable flavor, use filtered or bottled water.

White Chocolate

Sweet meets its match: white chocolate and delicious Eight O’Clock Coffee. If you don’t have morsels handy you can crumble your favorite bar instead. Of course, feel free to add a little more or less than a tablespoon depending on how sweet you like your treats.

Ingredients
1 Tbsp. white chocolate morsels
1 rounded Tbsp. ground Eight O’Clock Original Coffee per 6 oz. cup
Cream or milk optional

Place the white chocolate morsels in the bottom of your cup. Brew a pot as you normally would and pour into each cup. Stir for about a minute, or until the morsels have dissolved.

1 rounded Tbsp. ground Eight O’Clock Original or Colombian Peaks Coffee per 6 oz. cup
