Message from the Coffee Roasters and Employees of Eight O’Clock Coffee

The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has posed significant challenges to countless families and communities, and our hearts and prayers go out to all those most impacted. During the 160-year history of Eight O’Clock coffee, our country and our people have faced many challenges, and each time we have been resilient and come out of it stronger. And we are confident that we will persevere and be stronger from this current crisis.

During this time, we want to assure you that we have and continue to put the safety of our customers, employees and products as our top priority. We continue to take direction from the Center for Disease Control and can assure you our products are safe to consume.

Our business practices have set forth key priorities in response to the pandemic:

  • Protect Our People. Assuring the safety and welfare of our people; employees and their families.
  • Serve Our Customers. For over 160 years Eight O’Clock Coffee has served generations of home brewers. Bringing people together is the most rewarding aspect of what we do. This will continue and our team is working tirelessly to ensure that every cup of our coffee will be a constant in your homes, enjoyed by loved ones together and apart.
  • Social Responsibility. It is vital that each one of us do our part to limit the spread of this virus, and we have taken this responsibility seriously in our offices and in our roasting facility in Landover, Maryland.

Stay safe and secure. And while there is nothing usual about these days – we will continue to strive every day and ensure America’s favorite coffee brand is available to you.
